A/Prof Quirin Hammer

Quirin Hammer is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Infectious Medicine of the Karolinska Institute. He received his doctorate from the Humboldt University of Berlin under supervision of Prof. Chiara Romangnani and completed his postdoctoral work in the group of Prof. Karl-Johan Malmberg. Quirin’s team at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm focuses on understanding how NK cells recognize virus-infected cells and exploring the consequences of such recognition for host-pathogen interactions.
